Thank you CA Embroidery & Screen Printing for making these beautiful belly bands for children with feeding tubes!

For those of you that may be new to our blog, Cecily’s Closet offers free belly bands (fabric wraps with Velcro) to children with feeding tubes.  The wraps are designed to protect the Mickey Button or PEG tube that is inserted into a child’s abdomen for the purpose of feeding.  These simple, fabric wraps enable a child to safely proceed with physical therapy because they protect the site from rubbing.  They offer parents peace of mind by preventing the child from grabbing the tube site and reduce the risk of the tube being dislodged. Comfy for kids; priceless for parents; and FREE to anyone that asks.

Grammy and Grandpa, also the designers by Cecily's room, decided that we needed to do something to stop Cecily from grabbing her tube.  This accidental invention has since proved to be a gift for us and many families in San Diego and across the country.  There is not a day that goes by that I couldn't imagine not having this simple wrap to keep Cecily comfortable and to let Brien and I rest easy.  Yet another reason to be grateful for our amazing Grammy Cecily and Grumpy Gramps... If only we could clone them for everyone.

We are so grateful to Nina at CA Embroidery for producing 20+ bands for us! We love the Cecily's Closet stitching and are beyond thrilled with these adorable wraps.  My Mom, Chief Seamstress for Cecily's Closet, is unable to make the bands right now and Nina has stepped up to help us out and we couldn't be happier!

Check out this custom fabric donated by our fairy godmother, Gina. We are blessed! Onwards and upwards!

Love that the little belly bands can make the little ones play more freely :)

This is very neat! My son has had a peg tube for 12 years now and I had never heard of a belly band until I had issues with the harness on the school bus, which led me to your website. How wonderful you are for providing such a service!

I would love to get a belly band for my grandbaby who just turned 2 and is forever having issues with granulation tissue from tugging/pulling at tube-how do I go about doing this?
