Cecily's Closet has been asked to help advertise this beautiful service dog, Atti! The information contained within this post is directly from Paws'itive Teams.

Paws’itive Teams, a San Diego County provider of service dogs for persons with mobility-limiting disabilities, is currently
interviewing potential partners for a fully-trained service dog ready to start a career. Matching the personality and skills of a dog with those of the potential partner is extremely important. This dog has a very good work ethic and is quick to respond to requests. In addition to performing to numerous tasks which save energy for a human partner (picking up dropped items, opening difficult doors, help with undressing, etc), this dog also is trained to bring the telephone in an emergency, conduct counter transactions and place items in a basket.

􀀹 Live in San Diego County and have no plans of moving for at least one year.

􀀹 Have a mobility-limiting disability (ie. spinal cord injury). Paws’itive Teams does not train service dogs to assist with seizures, developmental disabilities, PTSD, depression, hearing or vision loss.

􀀹 Willing to commit to a rigorous 5-month transition training period, working twice a week in the home and in public settings with a Paws’itive Teams certified instructor.

􀀹 Agree to maintain high quality care of the dog after placement, including veterinary expenses, food, exercise, grooming.

􀀹 Agree to use the dog as a working dog, not a pet.

How to apply:
Complete an on-line pre-application through their website: www.Pawsteams.org.  The team will follow-up and schedule a phone interview.
