Sweet Dream Room Makeovers!
Cecily's Sweet Dreams provides children with special needs a decorative room makeover! The goal is to create a happy place for them to grow and thrive. Our volunteers work hard to convert bedrooms into magical places where dreams really can come true!
Sweet Dreams! Everyone Deserves Them!We all spend about a third of our lives in bed. Unfortunately, some children with special needs are confined to their rooms or beds more than they would like to be. Through this effort, we're working hard to make a happy place for children and their families to not only relax and enjoy, but to support the growth of their developmental needs. We all need a sanctuary. It's a simple gift - but one that hopefully helps to make life a little easier. Our parents provided us this gift and every day when we walk into Cecily's room we feel inspired, happy and loved. We hope Cecily feels the same way. She deserves the best and so do the children with special needs in your world.
As we are a very small non-proift; we can't process every request we receive. If you're interested in applying, please have your child's Doctor, therapist, special education teacher and or nurse write the nomination on your child's behalf. Please be sure to include the amount of time your child spends in his or her room. Please note that children who spend the majority of their time at home or in their room are given priority. We are grateful to Inside Emily's Head, PaintGreen, Beach Bungalow Designs and the various artists/designers who donate their time, talent and spirit to make a difference in the life of child.
