We all spend about a third of our lives in bed.  Unfortunately, some children with special needs are confined to their rooms or beds more than they would like to be. Through this effort, we're working hard to make a happy place for children and their families to relax and enjoy.  We all need a sanctuary. It's a simple gift - but one that hopefully helps to make life a little easier.  My parents provided me this gift and every day when I walk into Cecily's room I feel inspired, happy and loved. I hope Cecily feels the same way. She deserves the best and so do the children with special needs in your world. 

As we are a very small charity, we can't process every request we receive. If you're interested in applying, please have your child's Doctor, therapist, special education teacher and or nurse write the nomination on your child's behalf. Please be sure to include the amount of time your child spends in his or her room. We promise to add you to our wait list and as we grow we will be able to process more requests!  Please note that children who spend the majority of their time at home or in their room are given priority.
