In Partnership with the United Cerebral Palsy (UCP)Cecily's Closet partners with the United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) organization of San Diego County to help make recycled medical equipment available to families that need it! The UCP accepts and recycles pediatric and adult durable medical equipment to families at no cost. The UCP also can help with the purchase of durable medical equipment if no other source of funding is available. Income guidelines and other eligibility criteria apply and there is an application process.
Please contact Rhonda Van Eklenberg at 858- 571-7803 to learn more about UCP‘s funding assistance and for help determining whether your equipment needs might qualify for this assistance. |
Parent to Parent ConnectionCecily's Closet encourages parents to make donated equipment available to families in need directly through the Cecily's Closet website. The process is simple:
1) Send us a picture and a description of your item to [email protected] or post directly to the Cecily's Closet page on Facebook. 2) Cecily's Closet will post the item to FaceBook. 3) Once we find an interested party we ask the interested party to pick it up directly from the donor. This enables us to scale and recycle more equipment! |

Assistive Technology Network - Learn about your rights!
Learn how to find the right devices for your needs, how to get them and how to use them. Under the Assistive Technology Act all states are now required to have some kind of assistive device reutilization effort. This means each state is supposed to have a program that reuses durable medical equipment and assistive devices!
