Henry's Story

Henry is a fun-loving, 31 month old little boy that enriches the lives of everyone he meets. He is the apple of his Mom's eye and a joy to his teacher at Sunny Days. He loves Elmo, colors and balls of all kinds - football, baseball, soccer and more! He is cared for by his number one advocate, his Mom, Abby.
Henry received this room makeover because we heard he was a very special boy with an equally special Mommy that works long hours to ensure Henry receives everything he needs to grow and thrive. Henry is thriving because of the care, committment and passion his Mom displays for her little angel. Henry has global developmental delays and was recently diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy. His teacher told us that Henry has a spirit of joy and strength that can't help but make you smile.
Thanks to Jon Ray at Paint Green for donating his company's time and energy to transform Henry's room into one of his favorite places, Sesame Street. As usual, his team arrived promptly, worked hard and created the most perfect paint job we've ever seen! And thank you to Emily Dolton from Inside Emily's Head, for donating her time and services to create the Sesame Street art that filled the room with joy and fun. Emily's colorful contribution brought Henry's favorite character, Elmo, to his doorstep.
This family was so grateful and appreciative of this gift. We are so lucky to have partners that work hard to make magical rooms for amazing kids, like Henry. Cecily's Closet is grateful to be able to provide a very special place for Henry and his devoted Mom to enjoy.
Thank you to Paint Green, Inside Emily's Head, and our volunteers for making his "Sweet Dreams" makeover come true!
