Decorative Room Makeovers!
Due to increased demand, our nomination process has changed. We required that every nomination from a parent be supported by a 3rd party. This 3rd party may include a child's Doctor, nurse, therapist, teacher, and/or anyone that provides a service to the child.
Our Process!
1) Submit an online nomination (As stated above - all nominations must be supported by a 3rd party)
2) Volunteer may reach out to the person who submitted the nomination to obtain more information
3) All nominations are considered during Cecily's Closet board meetings (4x a year)
4) Children approved for consideration are then interviewed by a Cecily's Closet team member
5) Upon completion of the interview the family will be notified of their selection into the program
6) A volunteer crew will be assigned to the family
7) If family agrees to proceed, the install team will be assigned and the room will be scheduled
8) A project lead will be assigned to the family throughout the process
Important: As we are a non-profit funded by individual contributions and grants - all recipients will need to agree to sign a waver that releases Cecily's Closet from any legal liability associated with the makeover.
We would LOVE to process all requests but we are short on funding. As we grow we will strive to complete more makeovers but we are only able to complete 10-12 a year at present.
