Dear East Coast Angel,

How were we so lucky to have you fly in our life? One of the only good things to come out of Iron Mountain was our lasting friendship. Thank you for wrangling the other angels on the East Coast... we are so grateful for your continued love and support. We believe in the power of prayer.

We know you have been working over-time because Cecily is smiling, giggling and growing every day! We can see the results of your prayers when she wakes up in the morning with her eyes dry, no crying, and her smile wide, no biting! Thank you for taking such good care of her. Thank you for always being positive and believing. Thank you for always listening and liking and cheering us on from a far! Thank you for taking such good care of ALL of us! What a supportive friend you have been to our family.

We wish that every child could have the benefit of an angel like you in their life. You have carried us during our darkest days and you have soared with us during the highest highs. You are and will always be our East Coast Angel!

Dearest Cecily,

They say they best things come in small packages and I tihnk that's true about you! Every day you amaze me - with your courage, your strength, your ability to keep smiling and being such a good sister to Noah. You have taught all of us so much about life already.

I'll tell you something else, you chose the best Mommy on the planet. She cares so much about everyone - always thinking how she can make the world a better place for others - how can she make others happy, comfortable and peaceful. And how she can best complete the special mission that God has chosen her to do in this world. With you, her precious angel at her side, your Daddy & Noah, and the hundreds of California angels who give of their time and talent to bring smiles to so many, I really believe this is just the beginning.

Thank you for the most beautiful birthday wishes I have ever received. I think about you everyday. Thank you for the love you and your Mom have brought to my life.

What a TRUE ANGEL Karen is! She has brought the Ackerly family comfort through her prayers and kind words, and she has fueled them to continue their quest to help others through Cecily's Closet. Everybody needs encouragement through hard times and Karen has never waivered in her love and support of Cecily and the Ackerly family. It is in most people's nature to be supportive at first, but then people forget or move on. Karen has never forgotten. She has always been there with a supportive word or comment.- FRIENDSHIP AND LOVE MAKE THE WORLD BEARABLE AND MAKE DIFFICULT THINGS SEEM POSSIBLE.- I wish that everyone could have a Karen angel in their life. We should all strive to offer this kindness to even just one person in this life, without expecting anything in return. Hopefully, they will in turn continue this cycle of love. It is amazing how much difference true friendship and love make!!! Karen, you truly are an angel! God Bless you and all the angels you have praying for Cecily! Thank you one zillion times over!
