Today I made a big mistake. I own it. I'm not proud of it. Please forgive me. I can't sleep so I'm reading up on all the great quotes about making mistakes. So far it is not helping me feel any better...
I know that I'm far, far, far from perfect and I will pray that the person I upset knows that my intent was to help not hurt. I'm wiping the white board clean and moving forward. Lessons learned the hard-way are the lessons I seem to remember the best. These are some great quotes but perhaps a glass of wine would work better!
“When you find your path, you must not be afraid. You need to have sufficient
courage to make mistakes. Disappointment, defeat, and despair are the tools God
uses to show us the way.”
― Paulo Coelho, Brida
“We learn from failure, not from success!”
― Bram Stoker, Dracula
Isn't it nice to think that tomorrow is a new day with no mistakes in it yet?”
― L.M. Montgomery
I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of
control and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst,
then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best.”
― Marilyn Monroe
Anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new.”
―
Albert Einstein
“Have no fear of perfection - you'll never reach it.”
― Salvador Dalí
