It's that time of year again for the annualSan Diego People First Self-Advocacy Conference 2013! The conference is scheduled forMay 10-12, 2013 at the Marriott Mission Valley. This exciting event offers people with
developmental disabilities the opportunity to improve their self advocacy skills
and network with peers. The conference is planned and run by members of San Diego People First with support from agency staff.
Your help is needed to make this conference a success.
You can help ensure the success of the conference and have a great time by
volunteering at the conference. Volunteers are needed to assist attendees in a
variety of ways.
Volunteers must be at least 18 years old. Each volunteer should commit to a full shift (or shifts). Because this is a consumer driven conference, volunteers are asked to support self-advocates to manage many aspects of their
conference.
Attached is the Volunteer Registration Form and list of the tasks for each volunteer assignment. If you are interested, please complete the Volunteer Registration Form and send it to:
